Still Life Garden Painting Inspired Wedding @ White Rabbit
Matching our couples with their perfect flower palette always brings us extreme satisfaction! We met our featured couple and were awed by the coolness they exuded. We knew instantly that we had to pair this duo with an unconventional colour palette and unique flowers. The couple fell in love with that idea immediately.
During our initial consultation, we found out that the bride was going to be wearing a lovely emerald green dress for her wedding. The dress would be adorned with printed birds and made for an extraordinary outfit. With that personalised note, we decided to look at paintings of gardens and birds for inspiration. Having also taken the venue into account, the couple loved our floral idea for a still life inspired painting.
While most weddings keep to safer colour palettes, our dynamic duo were excited for a variety of colours. Some may think that using a myriad of colours comes off as tacky, but it’s all about finding the right colour balance and harmony.
We created an inspiring, organic floral installation for the wooden panels of White Rabbit. These freestanding installations looked like they were floating in midair - adding on to the whimsical delight of a garden painting.
The coral-coloured peonies sat within lush greens, complemented wonderfully by red roses and gerberas.
Exotic purple agapanthus peppered the floral arrangements and added depth to the fusion of colours.
The flowing blend of colours throughout the wall installation accompanied the venue’s exquisite stained glass window fully.
For the long dining tables, we opted for simple gold vases to house coral parrot tulips and berry-coloured butterfly ranunculus. This allowed the colours to develop throughout the dining hall.
There was not a single corner in the restaurant that was not showered by the glow of these sensational blooms. We were delighted to have been able to decorate the venue in a way our couple loved!
