Wild Garden Runway Capella Wedding @ Capella Singapore

Due to COVID restrictions in the past year, our wedding couples had their fair share of concerns with zoning restrictions and mandatory aisle barricades to keep the guests and themselves safe. 

Despite the restrictions, we tried our best to make the wedding ceremony a joyous one.

After all, a wedding day is a momentous occasion! And our wedding package is designed to reflect that significance.

Our featured couple took the constraints head-on and opted for an enchanting aisle of flowers that suited the theme and was simultaneously purposeful!

 

Setting the Scene for Our Couple at Capella Singapore

This wedding venue was Capella Singapore, a luxurious 5-star hotel in Sentosa Island. It is filled with lush greenery and colonial building architecture and is the perfect venue for anyone's big day.

Instead of the traditional stanchion poles in the circular ballroom, we recreated a picturesque field of flowers to line the path of the grand ballroom.

The long garden runway lined the aisle where our couple would march in to tie the knot. The elements of the runway was partly inspired by the hotel's magical 'Garden of Dreams'.

Picking Flowers that Reflect the Couple's Romance & Vision

One of the prominent flowers we used during the celebration was toffee roses. The delightful dusty pink flowers complemented the tan carpet of this exquisite Capella event space. 

Drawing from the colours of the Tanah Merah colonial bungalows of the hotel, we wanted to comfortably accommodate the guests of the wedding to the historical components of the venue.

To create a lush gardenscape feel for the wedding at Capella Singapore, the aisle arrangements included slender delphiniums and lovely white peonies, which complemented the colour of the tiffany chairs. 

Our brimming floral composition included lots of greenery! 

Lilies were positioned nearest the stage, where the couple would take their vows.

What a perfect flower to signify their devotion in front of their friends and family! 

The white lilies led up to the stage, where we constructed a simple porcelain-coloured backdrop with the couple’s names. 

Floral arrangements formed low borders around the modest backdrop, allowing it to serve its purpose without taking away from the grandeur of the full aisle flowers.

The lower of the arrangements displayed white peonies and paler toffee roses with darling eustomas. 

On the other side of the backdrop, we created a floor-to-mid-height arrangement with the help of angular greens. This gave the wedding more of that Sentosa Island colour scheme.

Creating this picture-perfect aisle of florals was so much fun for our team! We wish our couple everlasting, pure love!
