Classy Oriental @ Minjiang Dempsey

Another venue that we love for cosy, intimate setting that serves up great Chinese cuisine is Minjiang. Located in the vast nature of Dempsey Hill, it's perfect for smaller wedding that still feels personable.

To complement the Chinese fare, the bride wanted to add on an Oriental vibes that isn't tacky. What we want to achieve for her is a classy, understated look that still gives off a balance of romantic.

As a main focal point, we dressed up the counter table as it'll be the first thing their guests will see upon entering the dining hall. A floral installation that cascades and overflows, adorned with key flowers like Orchids, Phalaenopsis, Oncidiums etc. Large red Peonies were also used - the icon for Chinese that symbolizes wealth and prosperity. 

We carried the theme and style forward to the rest of the guest tables as well. Centering the table with these low flower centerpieces in gold dishes.
