A Modern Oriental Summer Pavilion Wedding

The Summer Pavilion is a Chinese restaurant with a skilled culinary team located within the compounds of the Ritz Carlton Hotel.

This is the wedding venue where our featured couple chose to begin the next chapter of their love story.

 

Decorating the Intimate Solemnisation Before the Big Event

Prior to the luncheon, our couple held a small and intimate solemnization ceremony at one of Ritz Carlton's function rooms.

We added a touch of floral decor to spruce up the indoor ceremony with nothing over the top.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Floral hedges were lined along the aisle to frame the couple's march in.

The flowers were in a warm colour palette of Red, Burgundy, Bronze, Orange and Green - the perfect colours to complement the warm tones of the function room while also keeping to the modern oriental look.

At the end of the room where the couple will meet for their standing ceremony, we created multi-tiered floral stands that are framed just above their torso level - which makes for great photos!

 

Creating the Perfect Backdrop for the Wedding Celebrations

 

 

 

 

Meanwhile, at the restaurant, the couple wanted to keep it simple and only have a photo backdrop for their guests to take pictures and remember their wedding by.

We created this multi-dimensional backdrop with a dome cut out with flowers peeping through.
