Can oriental character live inside a modern frame? That was the question we set out to answer. We built a clean, curved moon arch in soft white, then let the East grow around it. Bamboo and wild greenery climbed the sides, while clusters of coral roses, pink hydrangea, white orchids and orange oncidium spilled across the base in an unstructured, garden-like way. The couple's names sat in simple script at the centre, quiet and modern against all that living green. The result held both worlds at once, rooted in tradition and styled for today.
