This Shangri-La wedding takes its cue from the pastel world of Bridgerton, all soft pink, powder blue and cream. The ballroom is dressed like a garden, with tall plinths of blue delphinium, pink roses and white blooms lining the ceremony aisle between rows of candles, and the same palette fills the reception. The modern note comes from the backdrop, a set of curved white panels that the florals grow up and around, so the romance stays soft while the shape behind it reads clean and current. Hydrangea, roses, grasses and fern keep the whole room in that gentle pastel key. It is a period drama garden reimagined for a hotel ballroom, romantic without tipping into fussy.
