Chijmes:
Tropical Peranakan brings together a couple whose Filipino and Peranakan heritage became one. Beneath the gothic arches of Chijmes, lush installations layer red and burgundy orchids, anthuriums and tropical foliage with white phalaenopsis and cascading amaranthus, styled around heirloom green Peranakan jars. A heritage table of family photographs, figurines and nyonyaware, glowing with oil lamps, carries the couple's roots through the celebration.
