A Vivid Celebration of Love at The Arts House
Some weddings follow the rulebook. This one rewrote it in colour.
Set inside the historic Arts House, this celebration was anything but ordinary. Every floral detail, every design choice, every moment was a blend of heartfelt emotion and vibrant expression, crafted for a couple who wanted their day to feel like an art piece brought to life.
The Arts House: Where Architecture Meets Artistry
As a venue, The Arts House provided more than just a beautiful setting. It added a sense of history, depth, and formality that worked as a counterbalance to the lively florals.

The classical lines of the space set a frame for a wedding that was modern, but not trend-chasing, a timeless backdrop for a non-traditional celebration.

The ceremony took place in front of an asymmetrical floral arch, anchored by lush blooms in deep jewel tones and soft textures. Against the venue’s white walls and tall windows, the installation stood out like a living painting, modern in form, but rich in feeling.
A Riot of Colour, Designed with Intention
From the very start, the couple knew what they wanted: a colourful wedding in Singapore that reflected their energy and personalities.
A dream in full embrace of colour done tastefully.
We created a vibrant floral landscape that danced between bold reds, buttery yellows, peach tones, fresh whites, and soft powder blues. Every flower had a role to play.
Whether it was the playful marigolds or the dreamy delphiniums, each arrangement was designed to feel joyful, not chaotic. The effect was striking: alive, but still balanced and graceful.
A Wedding Art Exhibition with Heart
One of the most talked-about elements of the day was the photo gallery wedding display, a true standout.

Inspired by contemporary art exhibitions, we designed a gallery-style installation that led guests through key moments in the couple’s relationship.
Oversized prints were displayed on freestanding panels, arranged to invite exploration.

Florals were placed at the base of each structure, tying the entire space back to the central design language. This wasn’t just a lookbook of their love, it was a wedding art exhibition idea turned into an emotional journey.
Guests didn’t just view images, they walked through memories, surrounded by colour and story.
A Statement Bouquet, Unafraid to Be Different
The bride’s bouquet was a deliberate statement: confident, bold, and joyfully unexpected.

It brought together white orchids, golden marigolds, blush roses, deep red scabiosa, peach ranunculus, and those standout blue delphiniums.
The pairing may sound unusual on paper, but in hand, it made perfect sense, an intentional mix that reflected her individuality and the couple’s shared aesthetic.

Rather than trying to “match” the decor, the bouquet added another layer to it. It was part of the design language, yet clearly personal.
Modern Wedding Decor Rooted in Emotion
We didn’t just fill spaces with flowers; we designed moments.
Florals spilt naturally over entryways, accented signage, and softened architectural edges. Texture played a big role, using seasonal blooms that felt fresh but not overly trendy.

The result was modern wedding decor that felt intimate, expressive, and deeply connected to the couple’s values. Every touchpoint, from ceremony to reception, was an opportunity to reflect their story in a new way.
A Wedding that Felt Like Them
No part of this wedding was about following a checklist.
This was about creating a space that reflected who they are, two individuals who believe in colour, art, family, and shared memories.

Whether it was the handcrafted stationery, the bold wedding colours, or the quiet floral moments tucked into guest tables, it all worked together because it was real.
There was no attempt to tone things down for the sake of minimalism. The result was more memorable for it.
Why The Arts House Was the Perfect Choice
Choosing The Arts House as a wedding venue wasn’t just about location, it was a strategic decision.
It allowed the couple to lean into their theme of “love as art”, supported by architecture that has long hosted Singapore’s creatives.

The high ceilings, gallery-like layout, and natural light made it ideal for floral storytelling and immersive guest experiences. It also meant that the more colourful elements didn’t overwhelm; they harmonised with the space.
For couples who are looking for a venue that balances elegance with artistic freedom, The Arts House wedding proves it’s possible to have both.
Inspiration for Couples Who Want More Than Pretty
We believe weddings should reflect real people. Not trends. Not Pinterest boards. But honest stories and thoughtful design.
This wedding is proof that colourful weddings in Singapore can still feel refined, luxurious, and incredibly meaningful.

If you’re drawn to art, story-driven design, and experiences that leave a lasting impact, take this wedding as a blueprint. Lean into your vision.
Choose bold over beige if that’s what feels true to you. And surround yourself with creatives who can bring that vision to life with care.
