All White at Caroline Mansion

All White at Caroline Mansion
St Regis: Set in the Caroline Mansion at the St Regis, this wedding holds to a single colour and a single idea. The couple wanted something intimate and entirely monochromatic, so the design uses only white, white roses, hydrangea and clouds of baby's breath, massed along the grand staircase and answered by rows of pillar candles on every step. The flowers climb the black banister and spill to the floor, soft against the dark iron and the deep stair runner, while the candlelight keeps the whole scene warm and quiet. There is no second colour and no competing feature, just white blooms and flame carrying the mood from the staircase through the rest of the celebration. It is restraint used as the statement, elegant, still and deeply romantic.
