Description

Learn how to create a long low table centerpiece using foam-free techniques. The arrangement is loose, natural and organic. After this workshop, you’ll be able to create the perfect dinner setting at home or even a feature piece on your head table.

What you will learn in this workshop

1. Centerpiece Mechanics
We will teach you the mechanics behind creating a centerpiece in a long vessel perfect for a dining table setting without the use of floral foam. While floral foam are easy to use, they are also harmful to the environment. This foam-free method can be easily replicated to other types of vases too.

2. Choosing Flowers 
Know the type of flowers to choose based on their color and form. Each ingredient you use is vital and need to meet certain criteria in order to make it comfortable to the aesthetic eye.

 

What is also included:

  1. Lots and lots of seasonal fresh flowers
  2. Floral scissors and other sundries
  3. Snacks and drinks
  4. We will help you take photos of your work for your own use/portfolio

  1. Can I keep my arrangement?
    Definitely! This workshop is taught through demonstration and collaboration. You get to bring home your own masterpiece.

  2. Do I need any floristry experience?
    Nope! We only ask that you come with an open mind and your love for flowers. If you are a seasoned florist, you are definitely welcomed too!

  3. What do I need to bring?
    All materials are provided for. Just bring yourself and an interest to learn! Feel free to bring a notebook and camera.

Policy: Payment in full is required to hold your spot. There will be no refunds/credits for cancellation or no-show.

This workshop has very limited seats because we pride ourselves in crafting a special learning experience and to give each participant the attention they deserve. There is a minimum participation of 4 students to start. In the unlikely event of not meeting the minimum participation, we will refund your fees.
