Soft Wedding Vision Meets Grand Venue at Ritz Carlton
Over the years, we’ve seen how easily wedding themes can go too far. With too many colours, ideas, and layers, even a beautiful space can start to feel crowded.

When she shared her vision for a pastel, soft, and romantic celebration at Ritz Carlton Singapore, the direction became clear right away. Instead of adding more, the focus shifted to refining and simplifying.
For this Ritz Carlton wedding, the goal was simple. Create a space that feels romantic and refined. At the same time, let the venue shine. Most importantly, design a look that stays relevant and beautiful over time.

To achieve that, the strategy paired the right florals with clean styling and soft lighting. As a result, every detail felt calm, cohesive, and intentional.
Here’s how we brought this romantic pastel wedding at Ritz Carlton Singapore to life.
A pastel wedding theme that feels soft, not sweet
For this celebration, the pastel wedding theme focused on subtle layering instead of bold contrast.

Rather than relying on strong colours, soft blush, peach, creamy whites, and gentle greenery created a calm and romantic palette. In addition, texture and form added interest without overwhelming the space.
The florals worked with the architecture instead of competing with it. As a result, nothing felt loud or forced.

Across the space, each floral element connected naturally from the entrance to the aisle. This helped create visual flow and consistency throughout.
Because of this, the pastel wedding theme felt continuous instead of scattered.
Setting the tone with a grand ballroom entrance
The ballroom foyer at Ritz Carlton Singapore is long and spacious. Because of its scale, the styling needed to guide the experience rather than overpower it.

At the entrance, a statement double-panelled backdrop framed the space and set the mood from the first step inside. As a result, guests had a clear visual anchor and a natural focal point.

From there, guests naturally gathered for photos, conversations, and moments between the flow of the evening. In this way, the backdrop became part of the celebration, not just decor.

To soften the scale of the foyer, 2-metre-wide white carpeting was lined with tall and short floral clusters. This added depth and structure while keeping the space light and balanced.

Overall, this approach to grand ballroom wedding styling helps large venues feel warm, calm, and intentional.
Lighting the aisle with LED candles wedding decor
Lighting played a key role in shaping the mood of the space.

Along the aisle, LED candle wedding decor added a soft, warm glow. As a result, the aisle felt welcoming while still respecting the grandeur of the ballroom.

When paired with blooms, the candles brought intimacy and depth to the space. At the same time, they supported better photo and video results.

In large venues, especially, this type of lighting design helps soften the scale. It also allows the atmosphere to feel more personal and less formal.
A wedding photo gallery that tells their story
To add a personal layer, a wedding photo gallery featured the couple’s pre-wedding photos.

Positioned beside the registration table, the gallery became a natural point of interest. As guests arrived, they could pause and take in the story behind the celebration.

In doing so, the waiting area transformed into something meaningful. The space felt warmer and more connected to the couple.

Because it added emotion without clutter, the wedding photo gallery fit seamlessly into the overall design.
Designing a Ritz Carlton wedding that stays timeless
Every design choice came back to balance. The venue brought structure and presence, while the styling added softness, warmth, and personality. Florals, lighting, and layout worked together to create a calm, well-paced space that feels timeless.
Rather than following trends, the focus stayed on atmosphere, flow, and emotional connection. The result felt soft, romantic, and personal, reflecting both their story and the character of the venue.
