The Key Feature: The Privacy Screen

Since we have styled many weddings here, we focused first on the privacy screen that separates the lobby from the banquet area.

There is no door to mark where the wedding begins, so this screen becomes the first thing guests see. It sets the tone and gives the couple a sense of having their own space away from the public walkway.

The Design Thought Process

We took time with this part of the design. A standard carpentry backdrop felt too common for this wedding.

The solemnization also took place on the other side of the same screen, which meant a double-sided design was needed to support both settings.

We explored options and shaped a textured greenery installation for the ceremony side. Spotlights cast soft shadows on the front to add movement and depth.

Guests could catch small glimpses of the interior through the layered structure as they arrived, which made the entrance feel warmer and more inviting.

Natural Textures and White Florals

To create the shadows, we brought in real trees and shrubs. Texture played a strong role since the rest of the wedding featured white florals in a modern style.

This balance kept the space fresh without overwhelming the venue’s natural charm.

A Modern White Stage Setup

For the stage, we shaped an all white floral setup that wrapped gently around the circular platform.

It framed the space for his saxophone piece for her, turning the moment into one of the quiet highlights of the night.
