A Dreamy White & Green Garden Wedding at InterContinental Singapore
Weddings at hotel ballrooms often come with a certain expectation: classic, grand, and elegant. But at InterContinental Singapore, R&C’s wedding became something more.

We brought in nature’s quiet beauty, transforming a traditional ballroom into a serene, indoor garden. With a colour palette of white and green, the styling was clean yet layered, romantic without being too delicate. It was a celebration rooted in both intention and artistry.
A Fresh Wedding Take on InterContinental Ballroom
From the moment guests entered the InterContinental wedding venue, they were greeted by a sense of calm sophistication. Rich greenery, white blooms, and flowing lines helped soften the architecture of the space.

It wasn’t just about filling the room with flowers. The focus was on guiding movement, sparking conversation, and creating warmth. This space could have felt too formal without these elements.

The result became an atmosphere that felt intimate despite the grand scale. Every floral element added purpose and emotion, not just prettiness.
The Ceremony: A Living Installation
We designed a sculptural floral backdrop for the stage, made of layered greens and oversized white flowers. Soft lighting enhanced the textural contrast, adding depth and drama without overwhelming the couple at centre stage.

Guests were drawn into the moment by the details. A clear pathway was framed by greenery.

Low floral hedges looked like they grew right from the floor. Delicate touches anchored the whole look. It was a modern approach to a classic wedding, one that felt both grounded and fresh.
Grand Entrance, Gentle Welcome
A highlight of the day was the staircase installation. A mix of crisp white florals, light ferns, and trailing greens lined every step. The effect was soft, not showy. Guests were gently guided upwards, welcomed by texture and movement rather than symmetry and perfection.

This transition space often gets overlooked, but here, it became a talking point. The goal of our floral styling is always to make even the in-between moments feel intentional. And in this case, it helped set the emotional tone for what was to come.
Love Story in Full Bloom
Near the ballroom entrance, we styled a photo panel display of the R&C’s journey as a couple. Instead of flat prints on easels, we created a gallery-like experience.

We framed the panels with natural arrangements. They were light and not stiff. The flowers included white roses, snapdragons, lisianthus, and Italian ruscus.

These flowers did not compete with the photos. Instead, they highlighted them. They gently encouraged guests to stop, linger, and connect with the love story of the day.

This kind of emotional layering turns event decor into a meaningful experience.
Tablescapes That Invited Connection
At the reception, each guest table was thoughtfully styled to echo the larger floral design. Low centrepieces were full yet structured, combining white orchids, roses, and green foliage in glass vessels. We kept the florals low to encourage conversation while ensuring each table felt lush and finished.

The tables didn’t feel “decorated”; they felt complete. Candles added a glow without clutter. Nothing was overdone, and everything had a place. This is how we define elevated styling: curated, balanced, and purposeful.
The Bride’s Bouquet: Simple Perfection
The bride’s bouquet made a quiet but unforgettable statement. The design had a soft cascading style.

It included a mix of white phalaenopsis orchids, ranunculus, and delicate spray roses. Baby’s breath added extra texture to the arrangement. The orchids flowed gently past the hands, adding graceful movement to her structured gown.

The shape was intentional, minimal but impactful. Instead of overpowering her silhouette, the bouquet enhanced it, adding fluidity and softness to her clean, elegant look. The kind of bouquet that looked beautiful both in motion and in photos was present. This is a style we strive for in all our bridal floral designs.
Why the Venue Mattered
Choosing Hotel InterContinental Singapore was the right move. Its colonial-style details and elegant interiors offered a strong foundation, but it also gave us space to build. The venue had high ceilings, warm lighting, and a spacious layout. This made it perfect for layered wedding flower decoration and large-scale styling.

While some hotel weddings can feel cookie-cutter, this one was anything but. Every space: ceremony, staircase, photo corner, and tables were styled with a different intent, yet all felt connected.

If you’re searching for an Intercontinental Singapore wedding that feels like your own, know that it’s not about how much florals you have. It focuses on how you use it to tell your story.
