Raffles Hotel Singapore is one of those venues that already carries a strong presence. The gold Venetian light fixtures, grand chandeliers, and upholstered wall panels give the ballroom a sense of heritage that feels timeless. For a Raffles Hotel wedding, the goal is never to overpower the space. It is about working with what is already there.

For this celebration, she wanted deeper and richer colours without the room feeling heavy or moody. The brief leaned romantic, fresh, and elegant, while still feeling warm and expressive.

To complement the ballroom’s old-world charm, we designed a floral palette built around red and mauve wedding flowers, layered with burgundy, soft pinks, peach tones, and fresh greenery. The result was a refined garden-style wedding look that felt lush without feeling crowded.

Designing with the Raffles Hotel Ballroom in Mind

The key to successful Raffles Hotel ballroom wedding decor is understanding how the space functions. Having styled this venue many times, we know where floral designs will enhance the room and where they may disrupt the flow of the celebration.

One common challenge at Raffles is the stage. The projector screen spans the full width, which means traditional stage florals can block visuals. Couples often need to decide whether to keep the projections or decorate the stage itself.

In this case, she wanted to retain the main projector screen. Instead of forcing florals into a space that would not serve the experience, we shifted the visual focus to the aisle.

A Garden-Inspired Aisle as the Main Feature

The aisle became the heart of the design. We created a lush, deconstructed floral arch that framed the couple during their march in. The structure felt organic and light, echoing the garden-inspired theme while still respecting the ballroom setting.

To maintain visual flow, large bushy floral hedges lined the aisle. These hotel ballroom wedding flowers helped guide the eye toward the couple and created a sense of immersion for guests seated throughout the room.

This approach allowed the space to feel intentional from every angle, without competing with the ballroom’s architecture.

Thoughtful Table Styling that Complements the Venue

For the guest tables, we carried the same floral palette through to ensure cohesion. Using consistent flower types helps anchor the overall look and prevents the room from feeling visually fragmented.

The centrepieces were styled in an organic, garden-inspired manner and arranged in gold goblets. This detail was intentional. The warm metallic tones reflected the ballroom’s signature gold Venetian lights and elegant coffers, tying the florals seamlessly into the venue.

Small details like these are what elevate a luxury wedding florist in Singapore’s experience. Every element is considered in relation to the space, not just in isolation.
